Bengal Farmers Devolopment Service Co Operative Socity (BFDS) has been formed by ten youth from several district of west bengal and all are from agriculture family.
In year 2018 at I.I.T KHARAGPUR campus these men meet together for a training program on greenhouse technology and micro irrigation system, hosted by agriculture and food engineering department I.I.T KHARAGPUR. After compliting this training, they decided to form a co-operative society with the objective to introduce and impliment this modern technology of agriculture to every farmer of west bengal.
It is a state lavel cooperative society and thousand of farmers from several district of west bengal has join BFDS.

About Us
Polyhouse/Greenhouse cultivation is a cultivation of crops under complete controlled enviromental conditions like temperature, humidity, fertilizers etc with the automated system. It is estimated that we can earn approximately 6-7 lakhs per acre net profit in a year by following proper polyhouse cultivation practices.
The multiple advantages of using a shade net house are: Ø Helps in cultivating vegetable, spices, medicinal plants, aromatic plants and a variety of different plants depending on the kind of usage you will be having. Ø Shade net houses are of utmost importance in raising nurseries of vegetables and fruits.
